NEW HAVEN POLICE QUICKLY MAKE ARREST IN SHERLAND AVENUE RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

(5/29/2009) NEW HAVEN- Thursday afternoon, New Haven Police responded to a robbery complaint at 15 Sherland Avenue. A witness provided police with valuable information that led to the quick arrest of 21-year-old Luis Viera of 204 Lenox Street and 20-year-old Armando Vasquez of 183 Eastern Street. Viera and Vasquez who were each charged with Larceny in the 6th degree. Officers Silvestrini and D. Cole are credited with swiftly responding to and making both arrests in this case.
